Self-regulation is our ability to adjust our behavior or actions based on our thoughts and feelings. It is knowing that our thoughts about something create our feelings. These feelings impact our behaviors and these behaviors or actions cause our results or what happens in our lives.
Teach students self-regulation skills. This product includes posters, worksheets, quizzes, emotion cards, a reference folder, a flip book, and tool posters with tool cards. Student worksheets have clear directions and are intended to be in a “low prep” format so they can easily be printed and used. Many worksheets lend themselves to whole-class or small-group discussions about self-regulation skills. The emotion and tool cards can be cut apart and used in games and activities.
