Jill Orme, M.S., OTR/L

Jill received her Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University and a Master’s degree in Instructional and Performance Technology from Boise State University. She has worked as a school-based Occupational Therapist for more than 20 years. Jill delivers direct Occupational Therapy services to students from preschool age through 21. She provides consultative, collaborative, and training to teaching staff and students’ families on a variety of topics.

Jill has a passion for working with students who have complex behavioral needs, often the result of self-regulation and sensory processing differences. Jill is skilled at working with students with attention and executive functioning delays as well as fine motor and visual processing differences. Jill has received additional training and completed the Positive Education Certification Program utilizing Applied Positive Psychology with children and adolescents. She has lead school-wide implementation of the Zones of Regulation, a self-regulation curriculum at her schools.

Jill is passionate about educating and empowering the teaching staff and parents of the students she works with. When not working, Jill spends time with her husband and daughter enjoying hiking, skiing, and gardening.
